Description

In Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen, a puzzle-boxing spectacle fighting game, take the role of an FBI agent (the bureau of Federal Boxing Investigations) tasked with uncovering the sinister secret behind a rise in wanton entitled law-breaking worldwide.

Your routine investigation quickly turns dark. The more you fight these petty criminals, the more their power grows. Deep sea creatures and unidentifiable writhing flesh wash up on the East Coast. News spreads of otherwise good people going rogue. Natural disasters wrack the planet. Violent cults form and quickly propagate through social media. A new religion grips the world, worshipping "the tentacle" and promising the imminent arrival of their god.

Knockout 2 pits you against the worst of society and the only way out is with your fists. The cable company stops giving you the discounted rate? That's a boxing match. Someone yields at an empty roundabout? That's a boxing match, too. In fact, all laws, court cases, and skimping out on sandwich toppings are resolved through combat in a world where the legal system has been replaced with boxing. The road to victory might not be easy, but it will be hilarious.

How this came to be

Knockout 2: Wrath of the Karen is a pseudo-sequel to our first Knockout game. KO1 was a success for us in many ways, and we are excited to show how we've evolved the formula to crank it "way past 11," as one of our fans on YouTube puts it. No knowledge of the first game is required to enjoy Knockout 2.

KO2 is produced by a small, ideologically diverse team with the shared goal of getting everyone to laugh about today's most serious topics. If a joke wasn't able to make all of us laugh, it didn't make it into the game.

The game is made in Unity and beautifully animated with Spine for high-fidelity 2D graphics at high framerates.
